Beskrivelse

Tyresö's oldest nature reserve is located at Ällmorafjärden, far out on the Breviks Peninsula. The area consists of a mountain ridge and woodland and part of Ällmorafjärden. Dyvik borders to the south on the nature reserve Dyviks lövängar.

Dyvik nature reserve was established in the early 1960s to protect sensitive flora and fauna in the area. The County Administrative Board has oversight of the area.

In total, the reserve covers about 5 hectares and has a private owner, the Thuréus Foundation.

Natura 2000 area

A large part of Dyvik Nature Reserve is a so-called Natura 2000 area, an area containing species or habitats that are particularly worthy of protection from a European perspective.
