Welcome to Barnens Ö in Norrtälje municipality!
Take a swim at one of the beaches or cliffs, fish or take a stroll along one of the paths in the reserve.
In the springtime, the deciduous forests are carpeted with flowering lilies of the valley, cowslip and elder-flowered orchid. In the autumn, the reserve is a perfect place for mushroom hunting.

Rutevejledning
Barnens Ö is located 7.5 km south-west of Älmsta, between Väddö and Björkö.
By car: Drive on Route 76 and exit onto Route 283 towards Assöslingan. The parking lot is located next to the reserve.
By public transit: The Barnens Ö bus stop is located just next to the reserve. For current information on public transit, see: SL.se
Regler
In order to protect the Barnens ö nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- remove stones, dig, cut, drill, blast, carve, paint or in another other way damage rock, soil or stone,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes,
- dig up plants such as shrubs, herbaceous plants, grasses, mosses or lichens or remove fungi growing on wood.
It is permitted to pick flowers, berries and fungi.
