Beskrivelse
Down by the water, it is almost completely silent. It's like standing in a cauldron, surrounded by mountains and forest. Nature is subdued. Makes you wonder. Is it now, or is it a thousand years ago? You have to climb a bit to get around. But you don't have to go very far. You just have to follow the path to the water. Then you can go home with full batteries.

Nearest address : Värmdövägen, Saltsjö-Boo
Public transport: By bus you get off at the bus stop Boo kyrka if you want to visit the reserve via the northern entrance.
If you want to visit the nature reserve via the southern or western entrance, get off at the Mensättra bus stop.
Parking and accessibility: Two parking lots are located at Värmdövägen, adjacent to the reserve's western and northern entrance.
The parking lot of the western entrance is larger than the northern one. There are no roads to the lake, but it can be reached on foot via paths that run in hollows. No buildings prevent access, but it can be difficult to get around in the hilly terrain.
