God, you are like a pilgrim's hat on my head, protecting me from both sun and rain. Teach me to live more carefree, open to what life brings here and now and to all the resting places of life.

**Spiritual reflection

"If it is a problem that can be solved, there is no need to worry. If it is a problem that cannot be solved, there is no point in worrying." Often we live in anguish over what has been or in anxiety about what is to come. But the only thing we can influence is the here and now. There is a "bottomless joy in all bottoms", namely that no matter what we have to face, we are never alone. The fellow traveler goes along. Let go of unnecessary worries. Take a deep breath. Look at the nature around you. Maybe you hear birdsong? Think about all the joys of life. And smile!
