Prayer

God, put on my feet the shoes of discipleship and departure, help me to follow you with gentle steps through life and give me strength and resilience in my weary legs as I break away and set out on my journey.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He leads me in green pastures, he lets me rest by calm waters. He restores my strength, and leads me in the paths of righteousness, for his name's sake. Ps 23:1-3

**Spiritual reflection

Time goes so fast sometimes. Or maybe it is we who hurry? During the pilgrimage we are allowed to go slowly. There is no stress, no demands, no hurry. Not only the destination is the goal of our walk. To enjoy nature, to live in the here and now, to find new strength in the calm. Here we have the opportunity to grow and mature. Isn't it beautiful here, this short time on earth!

Have I chosen the rhythm of my life or have others decided it for me?

Do I need to break up from something that creates too much stress in my life?

What do I long for in my life?
