Norra Nyköpingsån is a very popular area for many fishermen. The area offers a great variety of fishing spots, ranging from the lake with almost stagnant water. When the lake turns into the Nyköpingsån river, the current increases to more movement in the water. As you move along the river, the water speed changes to more current and at the dam gates at Christineholm the water is strongly rushing. There are various places to fish from, such as jetties, riverside, bridge (dam gates) etc.
