Genneleden

The trail is about 3 km long. It provides the opportunity to walk around Lillsjön, via Genne and Krämbol without having to go on the highway. It is possible to get there with a stroller. Some slopes can be a little steep. In the area south of Genne, traces of the marble quarrying that took place in the 19th century can be seen. Here you can also see the old miller's house. Next to it is a house that used to be a trading post. There was a marble factory and forges at the bridge to Krämbol. In 1632, an ironworks with a hammer and two hearths was established in Krämbol. It was closed down in 1880 in connection with the lowering of the lake.
