Beskrivelse
Råby hällor is a municipal reserve in Hörby municipality. The reserve is located just south of Hörby and covers a varied area crossed by two ravines.
The skylark in the ravines
Råby hällor is an area close to urban areas with meadows, pastures and mixed deciduous forest. Two ravines run through the area. The flowing water at the bottom of the gorge is home to oxygen-demanding species such as signal crayfish and trout. At the water's surface, you can also see the Arctic char hunting insects.
Orchids and bowl pits
In damp parts of the reserve, the orchid species Saint Peter's keys grow. Many bird species thrive in the deciduous forest. In the northern part of the reserve, several ponds have been built to benefit plant and animal life. Råby hällor nature reserve is also rich in ancient remains and contains, among other things, remains of old arable land, cairns and a stone with bowl pits.
Outdoor life
The northern part of the reserve is located in Hörby town. There is a walking trail through the area. Remember to take your rubbish home.

For example, it is forbidden to:
- have a dog unleashed
- camping
- setting up a caravan/mobile home
- make fires outside the designated area
- ride a bicycle
- picking flowers
It is important to note that this is only a selection of the rules.
Full regulations for visitors
In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other laws and regulations, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation, for example by painting, chiseling or otherwise damaging rocks, boulders or the like
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs
- digging up plants
- pick flowers, mosses, lichens and mushrooms other than edible mushrooms for domestic use without the permission of the manager
- catch or collect insects or other invertebrates for purposes other than education without the permission of the manager
- camping or setting up a caravan or camper van
- make a fire other than in a designated place
- put up a board, sign, poster or similar device
- bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet
- ride a bicycle
- conduct competitions, exercises, camps or similar activities in the reserve without the manager's permission
