Rååns dalgång

Rååns dalgång is a nature reserve that extends about five kilometers inland, from Råå in southern Helsingborg, to Gantofta. Here you can experience beautiful nature, hike the trails along the river or fish for trout.

Few places can offer such a rich environment with the running water of the river, the deciduous forest and the open pastures. In spring and summer, you can see and hear many of the area's birds. In fall and winter, you may be lucky enough to see the spectacle of trout migrating up the river to spawn.

There are hiking trails along both sides of the Råån river. These trails provide the opportunity for three attractive circular walks:

Rau's church - Görarp's mill - Rau's church (about 3.5 kilometers) Görarp's mill - Gantofta - Görarp's mill (about 3.5 kilometers) Rau's church - Gantofta - Rau's church (about 7 kilometers)

Along the south side of the river at Gantofta and at Rau's church, the path runs on footbridges in sensitive and difficult parts. The paths on the north side of the river are accessible with strollers and wheelchairs, but as the terrain is steep in some parts, wheelchair users are recommended to have company with them.
