Beskrivelse
Magnarps strandmarker is a municipal nature reserve in Ängelholm municipality. The reserve is located adjacent to Vejbystrand urban area and includes a long narrow coastal strip that is a remnant of the former extensive pastures that existed in the area.
Lean sandy heath with bathing facilities
The northern part of the reserve consists of a lean sandy heath with alternating wet and dry areas. The vegetation includes heather, crowberry and juniper. In the southern part there are shingle embankments and a low-growing beach forest with ash, rowan and oak. The beach is rocky and in a small bay near Vejbystrand there is a bathing place called Gubbahålan.
Dancing macaon butterflies and playing larks
The open areas of the reserve are home to many different species of butterfly, such as the common metalwing swarmers, milkweed moths and macaon butterflies. Bird species associated with the open cultural landscape also thrive here, including skylarks, skylarks and cuckoos.
Outdoor life
The Skåneleden trail (SL1 coast to coast, stage 22) runs through this urban nature reserve in the southwestern part of Vejbystrand. Skåneleden extends about 2 km along the relatively varied coastal strip. There are parking spaces adjacent to the reserve both in the north and in the south. The nearest bus stop is Vejbystrand center, about 1.5 km north. Remember to take your rubbish home.

**Within the area, special rules and restrictions apply to the right of public access.
For example, it is forbidden to:
- having a dog unleashed
- make fires outside designated areas
- riding horses
- ride a bike or drive a motorized vehicle outside designated roads
- camping
- set up a caravan/mobile home
- fly with unmanned aerial vehicles
It is important to note that this is only a selection of the rules.
Full regulations for visitors
In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other laws and regulations, it is forbidden to:
- damage solid natural objects or surface formations such as boulders, rocks or earth formations by, for example, removing, digging, plowing, drilling, chiseling, hacking or painting,
- ride a bicycle, drive a motorized vehicle or park other than on designated roads and parking spaces,
- camping, setting up a caravan, motorhome or similar,
- picking, digging up, breaking twigs, felling or otherwise damaging plants and vegetation,
- bring an unleashed dog,
- ride a horse,
- make a fire other than in designated places,
- use the area for golfing,
- use a radio, gramophone, CD player, musical instrument or other sound system in a disruptive manner or fly remotely operated unmanned aircraft (including model airplanes),
- put up a board, sign, inscription, poster or similar device, with the exception of information and reserve signs, boundary markers and traffic signs.
