Klimatleken vid Klimatskogen

There are
barbeque areas at Klimatleken, St Lars, Källby Mölla and Värpinge. If you want
to take a walk, there is a 4 kilometre long path between St Lars och Källby, called
the Höjeåstråket Trail. Along the river, there are picnic places and in the
horse pasture between St Lars and Källby there is a pond-dipping platform and a
storytelling area. At the treatment ponds there is a bird tower. If you have a
fishing permit, you can fish for sea trout in the River Höje Å.

In winter,
the treatment ponds have open water and attract many ducks. From the bird tower
and the surrounding paths, you have a good view. There are also plenty of birds
here in the spring and summer. When you can also hear the call of the edible
frogs by the ponds.

Accessibility
varies but is best in St Larsparken where the paths are wide and surfaced. At
the horse pasture at Källby there are gates which may require assistance. At
high water, large parts of the area can become flooded and very difficult to
access. The barbeque area at St Lars is accessible for wheelchair users. The Klimatleken
play area has wide paths which are easy to roll along, the barbeque area is
also accessible for disabled users.

Höjeådalen is
in the south-western part of Lund and is most easily accessible from Värpinge,
Klostergården or St Larsparken.
