Beskrivelse

Dalby Fälad
no 5 Nature Reserve is part of a larger continuous area of pastures east of
Dalby – here grazing animals have kept the landscape open for hundreds of
years. The Hällestadsspåret Trail divides up the Reserve into a northern and a
southern part, and the Skåneleden Trail section called Skrylleslingan runs
through both parts of the Reserve.

Fakta

In this
historical remnant, you can find plants such as lousewort, mountain everlasting
and various orchids. This combination of species reveals the diversity of the
area, ranging from dry hills to wet fens. The area is home to birds such as red-backed
shrike, common whitethroat, lesser whitethroat, and yellowhammer – and there
are also plenty of butterflies associated with the many flowering plants.

Rutevejledning

You can
reach the Nature Reserve on foot or by bike on the former railway line called
the Hällestadspåret Trail. You can also
reach the area from Skrylle, which borders the site to the north.

Regler

Within the area, special rules and restrictions apply to the right of public access.

For example, it is forbidden to

  • have a dog unleashed
  • camping
  • make a fire/barbecue
  • cycling or riding outside the designated path.

It is important to note that this is only a selection of the rules.

**In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other laws and regulations, it is forbidden to

  1. intentionally disturb wildlife or grazing animals
  2. damage living or dead trees and shrubs or vegetation in general, and remove or carry away dead wood from the area
  3. dig, hack, drill, paint, dam, pump or otherwise damage fixed natural objects, land surfaces or aquatic environments.
  4. have an unleashed dog or other loose pet except in a specially designated place. It is also not allowed to not pick up after your dog.
  5. camping or setting up equipment for overnight stays
  6. set up a caravan, motorhome or similar.
  7. make fires, use disposable grills, alcohol or gas stoves or similar equipment, outside the designated area.
  8. organize storage, dump garden waste or rubbish.
  9. drive a motorized vehicle off the designated road.
  10. ride a bicycle or horse except on a designated road, path or place.
  11. take off or land with an aircraft or other remotely operated unmanned aircraft within the reserve.

Furthermore, it is prohibited without the written permission of the manager to:
12. capture insects, spiders, snails or other invertebrates by any means other than by scooping, hand picking or other selective method that does not destroy the animal's habitat, with subsequent release within the nature reserve. The requirement for re-release does not apply to single specimens of difficult-to-determine species of each species, provided that the findings are registered in the Species Portal, or equivalent database for threatened species, and that the collection does not violate the conservation regulations.
13. collect mosses, lichens or woody fungi, with the exception of single specimens, provided that the collection does not violate the conservation rules
14. put up a board, poster, sign, poster, inscription or similar in places other than those specifically designated
15. organize competitions or events that may damage or disturb the natural environment.
16. use sound systems, musical instruments or similar in a disruptive or noisy manner
17. erect any kind of facility or set up objects that are alien to the reserve.
18. put out beehives.
