Stafsäter naturreservat

Stafsäter Nature Reserve is located in the oak landscape around Stavsäter farm. The oak landscape is the largest oak area in northern Europe and is internationally recognized for its high natural and cultural values. Here you can walk among old oak giants and see rare beetles crawling on sunlit trunks.

The reserve consists of six sub-areas around Stavsätter Manor. The Östgötaleden trail passes through four of these.

In summer, the land is grazed. During this period, we recommend that you do not enter the pastures with your dog as it can make the grazing animals stressed and aggressive.
