The Mill Museum is housed in Boxholm's oldest building, the old mill from 1777. Here are a number of old objects collected from the mill's activities, that is, from, for example, iron handling, the forest, the sawmill, agriculture and cheese production. Films from now defunct rolling mills are shown, some with voice-over. Guides tell the story of the emergence of an ironworks and a community in this place, despite the fact that there are no ore deposits in southern Östergötland.
