Norra Vi runt, Östgötaleden

The start and finish of the loop is at Norra Vi church. The trail is about 9 km long, but can be shortened at three points by following roads to return to the starting point.

The trail is very hilly (rated as moderately difficult). At the foot of Vassviksberget the trail goes close to the lake. For a short distance, the path is gravelly and slopes down towards the lake. There is a risk of slipping in the gravel. There is a simple railing with ropes.

There are several rest areas and beautiful viewpoints along the trail, which passes the two nature reserves Kälemålen and Vassvikeberget. Along the trail there is information about the sights that are passed. Norra Vi Hembygsförening has put up the signs, you can also read the stories about the places along the trail here.

In summer, there is access to toilets and drinking water at Norra Vi bathing place.

The loop trail is partly shared with the Östgötaleden stages Norra Vi-Österbymo and Smedstorp-Norra Vi.
