Beskrivelse
The Limmernskogarnas nature reserve is located on both sides of Lake Limmern. The northern part of the reserve is characterized by a lush mixed forest with elements of oak, lime and aspen, while the southern part consists of lean rocky forest and testifies to old pastures.
There is a parking lot with space for about three cars. From the parking lot starts a hiking trail that goes in a circular loop in the reserve. The trail is marked with orange paint and is about one kilometer long. The trail takes you out to a headland by Lake Limmern where there is an organized fireplace with wood storage and a coffee table. There is also a simple bathing jetty that can be used by everyone.

Rutevejledning
Drive south from Linköping on Nya Kalmarvägen/road 23/road 34. After about 11 km turn right onto Haraldsbovägen (signs for Haraldsbo/ Skeda Udde) and continue on Haraldsbovägen for about 8 km. At the intersection at Visättersvägen turn left and then take the first right after about 1.3 km. Drive another 3 km and turn right towards the northern part of Limmernskogarnas nature reserve.

All the rules for the reserve can be found in the decision. Rules for the general public are also usually posted on a sign at the reserve entrance.
