Beskrivelse
In Brokind Nature Reserve you will find beautiful oak groves and valuable deciduous forests. Many of the oaks are impressively large, especially in Skolhagen by Brokind school. From the garden you can see Brokind Castle on the other side of Stångån and Kinda Canal. The reserve's four sub-areas are home to a rich bird and insect life and many native plant species.
The reserve can be a little demanding to visit as it lacks facilities such as rest areas and marked hiking trails.

Rutevejledning
Take highway 23/34 towards Kisa. The nature reserve is located at Brokind. The northern entrance is at the exit to Brokind. The western entrance is reached by continuing 250 meters south on highway 23/34, turning right towards Brokind Manor and then driving 400 meters towards the school. The southern entrance can be found if you continue two kilometers south on highway 23/34 after the exit towards Brokind Manor.

All the rules for the reserve can be found in the decision. Rules for the general public are also usually posted on a sign at the reserve entrance.
