Brandkårsmuseet i Simonstorp

The exhibition traces the development of firefighting equipment, fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars from the 1700s to the present day. The museum has a café and is wheelchair accessible.

In the museum, you’ll find everything from tools, clothing, and equipment from different eras and fields of work. From the days when fire departments, ambulances, and police used hand-drawn wagons and horse-drawn carriages to today’s motorized vehicles. The personal equipment, uniforms, protective gear, tools, and equipment used by firefighters, paramedics, and police officers are displayed in extensive collections. The evolution of fire extinguishers—from buckets, hand pumps for buckets, and throwable extinguishers to today’s fire extinguishers, which have changed in appearance over the years.
