Auroras sten

Make a detour of 600 meters to Aurora's stone, on the outside an unassuming rock. However, the stone has a history of almost 250 years. According to legend, it was here that Aurora Taube de Geer, mistress of Finspång Castle, sat down to rest during a hunt in 1780. One of the castle mistress's many admirers later had her footprint carved where she sat, thus creating Aurora's stone.

Today, there is a guest book for the visitor but also an opportunity to feel the wings of history from a morel hunt, two and a half centuries earlier.
