Anslutningsled Getå till Fridhem rundslinga, Östgötaleden

From Getå nature reserve you can follow the trail to Fridhems rundslinga. Getåravinen is a 500 million year old crack with rippling water surrounded by fantastic nature that almost feels exotic.

The trail follows the meandering stream. The paths are wide and easy to walk and are suitable for families with children who want to play in or near the stream. On both sides of the stream, the landscape rises and the trees provide a pleasant shade on the walk. Walking in the gorge gives a feeling of being in the jungle.

Follow the trail further north. Eventually the trail comes to a dirt road. Turn left and follow the gravel road that goes under the highway (E4). Continue about 500 meters more on the gravel road. Now the hike begins on Fridhem's circular loop. For those who want to go to Korpklint, with fantastic views as a reward, turn right into the forest at the sign pointing towards Korpklint and Hjälmarsösjö. Here the trail turns into a path and narrow forest road. The path slopes slightly upwards and the surrounding nature is pine forest with high blackberry bushes. The whole way through Getåravinens nature reserve to Korpklint and back is 8 km.
