Beskrivelse
Here is an inviting coniferous forest that is a popular recreational area for the adjacent residential areas. An electric trail runs through blueberry spruce forest, pine bogs with fragrant water hemlock and damp depressions with deciduous forest. At the eastern edge there is a hill that is turned into a toboggan run in winter.

Rutevejledning
Öknaskogen is located next to the residential area Lundby, about 7 km from Örebro center. If you come by car, you can drive through the Boglundsängen business area and then turn off towards Vivalla and Lundby. If you follow the road Vivallaringen, you will reach the area's parking lot. By bus you can get to Lundby center. If you then follow the pedestrian and bicycle road west, you will reach the reserve after about 500 meters.
