The reserve is located about 3 km south of Brevens Bruk.

In the nature reserve it is forbidden to:

• drill, hack, blast, dig, carve, paint or otherwise damage rock, the surface of the earth, stone or boulders, or to move or remove stone or boulders,
• felling, removing or otherwise damaging living or dead, standing or fallen trees and bushes
• drive a motorized vehicle other than on roads
• operate a motorboat
• deliberately disturbing wildlife, e.g. by climbing nest trees or staying near inhabited dens
• collecting invertebrates, other than by collecting or picking, and taking single individuals for identification
• damage the vegetation, e.g. by picking or digging up plants such as rice, grass, herbs, mosses or lichens and fungi
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, use the area for organized competitions or exercises, camp activities or similar,
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, put up a permanent board, sign, poster or similar device, or mark out tracks,
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, carry out scientific research or an individual study that may lead to damage or other negative impact on plant or animal life,
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, construct new paths,
• liming water without the permission of the County Administrative Board.

But it is allowed to:

• pick berries, edible mushrooms and flowers for your own use, but not protected or red-listed species.
