Beskrivelse
The old coniferous forest has been left to its own devices for a long time and is rich in species, with several rare mosses, lichens and fungi. The terrain in Ånnarotes nature reserve is slightly hilly and covered by an old spruce forest with elements of centuries-old pines. Between the hills are small tree-covered bogs. The transitions between forest and bog are exciting and rich in species. The forest has been allowed to develop in peace for about 100 years and is beginning to take on the characteristics of a natural forest with trees of different ages. The oldest spruces are almost 150 years old and there are plenty of gaps and dead wood.

Rutevejledning
From Örebro drive towards Närkes Kil, turn off towards Klockhammar and drive towards Bocksboda. After you have passed Bocksboda, it is only just over 200 meters to the nature reserve's parking.
Regler
**In the nature reserve it is forbidden to
- remove or damage dead trees or parts of trees
- light a fire other than in a designated place
- collect mosses, lichens and fungi growing on trees or wood without the permission of the county administrative board.
