Beskrivelse
Tervajoki is a virgin forest-like area with lots of dead wood and many endangered wood living fungi. Here you also find waterlogged forests and lime influenced land with more unusual plants such as Red Baneberry, Herb-paris and Mezereon. The area is 9.5 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikation
The reserve lies about 18 kilometres northwest of Pajala along the road to Käymäjärvi. A logging road eastward about 7 kilometres south of Käymäjärvi passes the reserve.

The reserve is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Pajala following the road to Käymäjärvi. A forest road heading east about 7 kilometers south of Käymäjärvi passes the reserve.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
