Beskrivelse
In the small lakes and mires of Stordalen there is abundant birdlife with a number of rare species. In Stordalen, international research is pursued at Abisko Scientific Research Station. Show consideration to ongoing research projects. The area is 11 square kilometres in size and snowmobiling is only permitted on snowmobile trails. In winter it is permitted to light a fire anywhere, but in summer, only near water.

The reserve is located between the E10 and Torneträsk, about 1 mile east of Abisko, at Stordalen station.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on trails
- fishing in accordance with the laws in force
In winter, you can make fires wherever you want, but in summer this is only allowed near water. It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
