Beskrivelse
The reserve comprises three forested mountains lying almost in line in north-southerly direction, and the hollow that lies between them, where a logging road cuts through the reserve. The three mountains reach a height of about 300 metres a.s.l. There are several different habitats in the area. Among other things you can encounter waterlogged forests or pine forests on exposed bedrock that host the tooth fungus scaly hedgehog mushroom (sarcodon imbraticus). The area is 4 square kilometres in size.

Paljaskero is situated about 17 kilometres northwest of Svanstein in the northern part of Övertorneå municipality and about 8 kilometres northwest of Rantajärvi. The reserve lies about 1.5 kilometres west of the village of Mettäjärvi, and a small road leads all the way into the reserve. There is a snowmobile trail in the area.

Paljaskero is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Svanstein in the northern part of Övertorneå and about 8 kilometers northwest of Rantajärvi. The reserve is located about 1.5 kilometers west of the village of Mettäjärvi, a smaller road leads right into the reserve.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping - hiking - making a small fire - driving a snowmobile on snow-covered ground - picking berries and edible mushrooms - fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to litter or damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
