Beskrivelse
Päivävuoma is a varied and undisturbed wetland area which has long been known for its abundant birdlife. Here you find two areas of mire, both draining into the Råne river. You can see old hay drying racks, barns, traces of a reindeer enclosure and many hearths at the edge of the mires. Still today, reindeer like to forage on the mires. The area is 28 square kilometres in size.

The nature reserve lies about 15 kilometres southeast of Nattavaara. The road between the villages of Polcirkeln and Nattavaara passes the reserve.
Rutevejledning
Naturreservatet ligger cirka 15 kilometer sydost om Nattavaara. Vägen mellan byn Polcirkeln och Nattavaara by passerar reservatet.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
