From west of the village Olkamangi, go north and drive 12 kilometres on smaller gravel roads. If you turn right in every road crossing, you vill eventually reach the reserve. The roads can sometimes be closed, especially during spring and fall when the roads are bad.

The most suitable access route to the reserve from the public road is from the south, via the village of Olkamangi. The reserve is reached by turning north west of Olkamangi and driving about 12 km to the reserve by keeping right at turn-offs. There are currently barriers along the road to the reserve. The county administrative board's goal is that the barriers should be open outside the due date. This means that the road can be closed in spring and fall when the road conditions are worse, but that the roads should be open at least during the summer.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:

• camping
• hiking
• picking berries and edible mushrooms
• make a fire, remember to bring your own firewood!
• drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
• fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force

It is not allowed to dig up or pick the orchids. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
