Naakajärvi ekopark

In the northern part of the municipality you will find one of the most unique forests, the Naakajärvi Eco Park, which offers unique and varied environments to discover. Within the park there are several mountains, ravines and streams as well as Lake Naakajärvi with fishing camp and cottage rental. One of the mountains in the park, Manalainen, stands out with its almost 500-year-old pines and the area is classified as one of Europe's most worthy of protection. The park is rich in species and here you can experience the natural cycle of the forest where it has not been affected by man.

The park is signposted from the road and there are information boards at appropriate starting points.
