Beskrivelse
The low-lying, flat morain island of Massan lies in the inner Kalix archipelago. It has no structures but rich birdlife. Here you find among other things nesting Greylag Geese, Iceland Gulls and Terns. The whole area is 0.5 square kilometres and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the island. Special regulations apply for hunting, read more in the reserve designation on the County Administrative Board website.

The mass is located about 6 kilometers south of Karlsborg and 7 kilometers southwest of Båtskärsnäs.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve, which you can read more about in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the island. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
