Beskrivelse
Lina old-growth mountain forest is a vast nature reserve with coniferous forest, large wetland areas, lakes, watercourses and low fells covered in mountain birch that rise here and there. The area is a link to the range of unique, undisturbed forest ecosystems in protected areas along the montane rim. The nature reserve Lina old-growth mountain forest is 981 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikationsflows
The nature reserve lies about 10 kilometres north of Gällivare. You can take the train to Harrå or Fjällåsen. There are roads to Latnivaara, Pauki, Avvakko or Tjautjas.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
Lina fjällurskog consists of an older nature reserve and a domain reserve. The reserve has retained its regulations, read more in the decision.
Within the reserve there are reindeer herding facilities in the form of fences and reindeer herding huts. The entire area is year-round land for reindeer herding, show consideration when you are in the reserve.

Jag tog tåget en härlig myggfri dag i början av juni till Fjällåsen station, och vandrade sedan på den gamla stigen till Påstavaara sameviste och tillbaka. Rekommenderas!
