Beskrivelse
The reserve is a canyon like valley where pines, the hills and cliffs. The valley floor is covered by a large mire which forms the source of Patsangisjoki stream. The area is 0.7 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikationsflows
Kursunkangas lies about 12 kilometres northwest of Kangos. Drive on the east side of the Lainio river from Kangos northwards towards Hukanmaa. Just before Hukanmaa turn off eastwards and follow the logging road to the reserve. The road is in poor condition.

The reserve is located about 12 kilometers northeast of Kangos. Drive on the eastern side of the Lainio River from Kangos and north towards Hukanmaa. Just before Hukanmaa, turn east and follow the forest road to the reserve. The road is in poor condition.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
