Beskrivelse
Karsberget is a hilly, varying area of coniferous forest. The pristine forest has been impacted by forest fires. Here you find trees up to 450 years old. The reserve extends from the Råne river, on towards the northeast and up to the 353-metre Karsberget mountain and across the mire called Kvigmyran. The area is 2.4 square kilometres in size.

Karsberget lies about 10 kilometres northwest of Mårdsel (Mårdudden). Follow the road from Mårdsel towards Pålkem in the northeast. About 4 kilometres from Mårdsel there is a turning northwest which leads almost as far as the reserve.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
