Beskrivelse
Here you find everything from wetlands, waterlogged forests and tarns in the lower parts of the nature reserve - to dry, boulderstrewn land higher up on the slopes of Juovvavare mountain. In the old pine forests there are trees with fire scars in the bark that show they have survived up to 3 different forest fires. Several streams flow through the outer areas of the nature reserve, including Hattmyrbäcken in the western part of the reserve and Björkängesbäcken, which flows in the southeast. The area is 2.9 square kilometres in size.

Juovvavare lies about 20 kilometres northwest of Harads. From the road which runs between Bodträskfors and Snesudden there is a logging road which leads further northwards to the nature reserve. You can also drive to Krokfors then continue via logging roads.

Juovvavare is located about 20 kilometers northwest of Harads. From the road between Bodträskfors and Snesudden there is a forest road leading north to the nature reserve. It is also possible to drive to Krokfors and then continue via forest roads.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
