Beskrivelse
Jalomaa Nature Reserve is a 17 square kilometres large area, situated 20 kilometres southeast of central Pajala. The most part of the area consists of vast wetlands. There is a snowmobile trail through the area, but no other facilties.

Type of protection: Nature reserve. The watercourses within the reserve are also part of the Natura 2000 area Torne and Kalix river system.
Kommunikation
From road 99, north of Kardis, go west on a gravel road to reach the reserve.
Rutevejledning
The nature reserve is located about 2 miles southeast of central Pajala. The most suitable access to the reserve from the public road is from the east, via the gravel road leading from road 99 just north of Kardis.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- Camping.
- Hiking.
- Pick berries and edible mushrooms.
- Make a fire, remember to bring your own firewood!
- Drive snowmobiles on well snow-covered ground. When driving, existing trails should be used in the first instance. Damage to the ground and vegetation must not occur.
- Fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws.
It is not permitted to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
