Beskrivelse
Hornavan-Sädvajaure is a huge area on the montane rim with extensive coniferous forests, mountain birch forests, mires and watercourses. On the mountain slopes we encounter verdant meadow birch forest with tall-growth herbaceous plants such as Wolf's Bane, Globeflower, Alpine Blue Sow-Thistle, Mezereon, Red Baneberry and Garden Angelica. The area is 817 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikationsflows
The reserve lies about 20 kilometres northwest of Arjeplog. Road 95 passes the western part of the reserve. The King’s Trail passes at Jäckvik. The eastern part the reserve is reached via a turning east of Arjeplog, past Galtispuoda, after which you turn west towards Örnvik.

The reserve is located about 20 kilometers northwest of Arjeplog. Road 95 north of Arjeplog passes the western part of the reserve. The King's Trail passes by at Jäkkvik. The eastern part of the reserve is reached via a branch road east of Arjeplog, past Galtispuoda, then turn west towards Örnvik.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
Hornavan-Sädvajaure mountain primeval forest consists of an older nature reserve and several domain reserves. The nature reserve has retained its regulations, read more in the decision.
