Beskrivelse
The pine forest in Gärddatjåhkkå is typical for the Lule river valley. The pines are slender and grow densely. Many of the old pines reach higher than 20 m, and you have to lift your gaze to see their gnarled tops. The area is larger than 0.4 square kilometres in size.

Gärddatjåhkkå lies about 20 kilometres northwest of Vuollerim. The reserve is reached from the road between Vuollerim and Messaure via a small logging road, which you turn on to about 4 kilometres north of Nedre Kuouka. The state of the road is however not known.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a small fire with your own firewood
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
