The Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board decides

pursuant to Section 3 of the Off-Road Vehicles Act (1975:1313) and Section 15 of the Off-Road Vehicles Ordinance (1978:594), to grant the Gabna Sami village's application for a temporary snowmobile ban area in areas G1, G2, G3, G4, G6, G11 and part of G5 (see map appendix) during the period May 15, 2025 to May 31, 2025 inclusive, as shown on the map appendix

that the snowmobile ban shall not apply to persons referred to in § 1 1 st. 1-3 p. off-road driving ordinance (1978:594) and persons who perform tasks according to 1 § 2 st. 3-4 p. of the Off-Road Driving Ordinance:

• State and municipal officials in official matters
• Doctors, district nurses, midwives or veterinarians in professional practice
• Mountain rescue services and, in the case of rescue services, state fire brigades or municipal rescue service organizations
• Transportation of sick persons to a doctor or hospital or in other comparable emergencies
• Snowmobile traffic in connection with reindeer herding

that it is permitted to travel on a snowmobile trail marked with a sign indicating that a snowmobile trail is required.

that the Gabna sameby has an obligation to notify if the need for a temporary snowmobile ban ceases or changes within the ban period
