Beskrivelse
At the Forsvallen residential area in central Gällivare, a new playground has taken shape in 2022. There is a rope course, swings, a climbing pyramid and a fun merry-go-round that is inclusive and accessible to many as it is at ground level. For those who want to roll along on wheels, there is a paved track that opens up for a variety of fun activities!
In winter, the landscape is transformed into a lighted sledding hill and the play environments consist of site-built house gables, playhouses and a wooden bridge where the imagination can guide the play.
There are also cozy social areas with seating and fireplaces and a nice view of Dundret.

Gravel path, wooden bridge, paved loop and fall protection in wood chips or fall protection plates under the climbing pyramid and swings.
Parkering
Available via the entrance from Nattavaara road about 50 meters from the entrance to the playground.
Rutevejledning
From Gällivare C, drive a short distance along road E45 towards Porjus and then turn off towards Nattavaara. After about 450m, turn left again onto a small gravel road where there is parking adjacent to the playground.
The playground is also reached along the GC road that connects to the hometown area and Gällivare hospital. From the hospital parking lot it is about 500m to walk.
