Beskrivelse
There are undisturbed forests here rich in species and easy to hike, as well as a good number of birds to spot. Soft sandy beaches extend around the island of Stenskär. There are also a sauna and other amenities, which are managed by Piteå Municipality. The entire nature reserve covers 92 square kilometres, of which 4 are dry land. It is forbidden to use a jet ski or a snowmobile, and it is permitted to light a fire only at designated places. On the islands of Lillhörun and Storhörun, it is forbidden to go ashore between 1 May - 31 July and one may not be within 200 metres of the islands.

The reserve is located about 10 kilometers southeast of Piteå.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make fires in the designated area
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to:
- drive snowmobiles on land
- operate watercraft
- damage plant or animal life
On the islands of Lillhörun and Storhörun, disembarkation is prohibited between 1 May and 31 July. It is also forbidden to stay within 200 meters of the islands.
Damaging plant and animal life is not permitted. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
