Beskrivelse
The three islands of Båtöfjärden Nature Reserve are valuable sanctuaries for archipelago plants and wildlife. The islands are dominated by wave-washed exposed bedrock and shingles – a result of glacial rebound. The area is 9.3 square kilometres in size and snowmobiles are banned on the islands.

Båtöfjärden borders Kalix municipality and is located about 2 miles east of Brändön in Luleå's northern archipelago.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve, you can read more about this in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the islands or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
