Beskrivelse
Here you find ridges and gorges in a scenic landscape. Through the area Kvarnbäcken river flows. Up on the hills, dry, old pine forests grow, which down into the more humid ravines turn into lush spruce forest with mighty aspen and willow.

The hills are located 28 kilometers northeast of Harads. The most suitable access road is from the southeast, via Gärdan. From there, a logging roadto the northwest leads to the reserve.

The nature reserve is located about 28 kilometers northeast of Harads. The most suitable access route to the reserve from the public road is from the southeast, via Gärdan where a forest road goes west and leads to the reserve.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camp
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
Among other things, it is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
