Beskrivelse
In Ainavarto, bare mountain peaks are mixed with large mires and small areas of old growth forest. You can climb the mountain Ainavarto or ski over the large mire Kallanvuoma. The reserve is 14.9 square kilometres.

You can reach this reserve by going north from Nattavaara village. After 14 kilometres, turn east to a gravel road that passes through the reserve. There is no designated parking area but the car can be parked along the road.
Rutevejledning
The reserve is reached by driving north from Nattavaara village about 14 km, then turn east on the forest road that passes right through the reserve. There is no designated parking lot, but it is possible to park cars along the forest road that passes through the reserve.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- make a fire, remember to bring your own firewood!
- drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
