Beskrivelse
This is a small nature reserve surrounding Abisko Scientific Research Station, which lies east of Abisko National Park. Research is carried out here under the umbrella of the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat. The nature reserve covers 0.6 square kilometres and snowmobiles are forbidden in the entire area.

Kommunikationsflows
The area surrounds the research building west of the village of Abisko. There is a turning off the E10 leading to the research station. The hiking route called the Navvy Trail runs across some of the southern boundary of the nature reserve.

The nature reserve is located around the research station and borders Abisko National Park to the west.
Regler
As the nature reserve is set aside for research, the regulations are adapted accordingly. For example, it is not allowed to:
- enter areas that are closed for research.
- drive snowmobiles in the reserve.
