Abborrträsk - Rallarstigen

Here you can sit by the fireplace and look out over the beautiful buildings, the surrounding meadows, the adjacent potato field and the Perch Lake. There are benches, a fireplace and even a cold spring down by the lake where you can refill your water bottles. In one of the cabins you can also spend the night on simple bunks in a small cabin with a fireplace.

Abborrträsk is an idyllic place that is well worth a visit. The Abborrträsk manor at Abborrträsket in the Peltovaara diversity park was established in 1757. It was bought by the local history society from SCA in 1990. The homestead paid taxes to the crown through day labor in the form of ore transports. The local community association still looks after this place and also cultivates the meadows.
