Beskrivelse
At Sjösås meadow, the nature reserve trail winds between grazing pasture and hayfields. Hazel, ash and trimmed lime trees are accompanied by wolf's bane, butterfly orchids, milkwort and sun rose. You may encounter a green woodpecker or a starling. Some of the giant oaks in this area are hollow, and are reminiscent of the baobab trees of the African savanna, or perhaps Pippi Longstocking's lemonade tree. See the link below for more information about the nature reserve. This nature reserve is administered by the County Administration of Kronoberg.

Sjösås äng is located on the northern outskirts of Braås.
Regler
You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation, for example by drilling, painting, chiseling, or otherwise damaging rocks, boulders, living or dead trees and stumps,
- driving or parking a motorized vehicle
- set up a motor vehicle, caravan or trailer,
- ride a horse
- disturbing wildlife, for example, by foolish behavior at bird nests or the like,
- make a fire
- digging up, picking or breaking bushes, rice, herbs, mosses or lichens, with the exception of picking berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use
- collecting insects, shells or other animals
- put up a picture, sign, inscription, poster or similar device
- camping.
Other legislation on what you are allowed to do in the forest and land also applies in the nature reserve
