Osby offerlund

The nature reserve Osby offerlund is located about half a mile north of Skatelövsfjorden's significant ancient remains area. The reserve consists of a piece of pasture covered with several large oaks. There are also apple, ash, birdberry, hawthorn and rosehips. The grove gives the landscape a pastoral character. By the village road between Huseby and Törnåkra grows a stately oak, which is also protected. The biological values within the reserve are strongly linked to large, older oaks. There are 15 free-standing wide-crowned oaks with large trunks in the reserve. Take a break and enjoy the open surroundings. The nature reserve is located in Alvesta municipality and is managed by the Kronoberg County Administrative Board 010-223 70 00.
