Beskrivelse
Slightly north of Alstermo is an area that belongs to the old Småland with its open meadows and small gravel roads. The farmhouses are red, the trees are pollarded, and sheep and cows’ grazes in the fields.
Hohult’s village centre with its remarkable buildings are one of the most interesting ones in the region. The buildings location has changed very little since the medieval times. Many of the buildings are built in a traditional way and has a lot of decorations.

Fakta
Hohult’s village is classed as a national interest because of its high cultural values. The village is named as early as in the year of 1297!
Rutevejledning
Alstermo is a good starting point for excursion in the area. Hohult is located slightly north of Alstermo and the river Alsterån.
