Lay out your picnic blanket, breathe fresh lake air and go for a swim in the lake Askaken!

Between the lakes Ältasjön and Askaken you will find Lidhultsåsen. Walk through Lidhultsåsen nature reserve and experience the rich bird life and enjoy the tranquility. If you want to go on a longer trip, you can continue walking on the nature trail that goes from the swimming spot to the old Banvaktsstugan in Lidhult's community. Or relax and take a break at the firesite by the river.

Keep in mind that
it is not allowed to pitch tents or camp at the swimming area.
