Trollstigen - a magical little hike

Just outside Målerås you will find Trollstigen. An easy hike through a varied landscape. Forest and marsh, always in close contact with the small lake Långegöl. There are several wooden sculptures of trolls that you can discover along the way. You also pass a hill with beautiful views of the lake.

When you have passed over the footbridges at the lower and narrow part of the lake, you will soon find a windbreak on the right. There is also a barbecue area. A place for a little break with a view of Lake Långegöl.

The path is easy to walk and varies between path and footbridges. About 75 meters goes close to road 31, but with a safe distance to traffic.

Where the trail starts and ends, there is a nice bathing area with a jetty and stalls for changing. Why not start or finish with a dip in Långegöl. There is also an organized barbecue area at the bathing area in summer.
